AI that works, because the data underneath it does
We help small and medium businesses put their information in one place, see it clearly, and use AI where it saves real time.
Artificial Intelligence
AI that does real work in your business
Most AI projects stop at a demo. We build things that stay running.
AI Assistants
A private assistant that answers questions from your own documents, contracts, policies and data. Staff ask in plain English and get an answer with a link to the source, instead of digging through folders. It reads your actual files before answering, so it cannot invent things.
Document and Data Processing
Invoices, forms, applications and emails read and sorted automatically, with the information sent where it needs to go. Usually the fastest way to give someone back ten hours a week.
Agents and Automation
Software that moves work between your systems so nobody copies and pastes. A new order updates your accounts. A support email creates a ticket and drafts a reply. A weekly report writes and sends itself.
AI Strategy and Roadmap
Before you spend money, an honest read on where AI would actually pay for itself in your business and what to do first. Sometimes the answer is that you are not ready yet, and we will tell you that.
Platform Engineering
Getting your information into one reliable place
Everything above depends on this. It is also the part almost nobody sells properly.
Connecting Your Systems
We link the tools you already run on, whether that is accounting, sales, bookings, stock or payroll, so their information flows out automatically. No more monthly exports into a spreadsheet.
Building Your Data Store
One organised place where all of it lives together, updated on its own, with your history kept so you can compare this year to last. The industry calls this a data warehouse. We build these on Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Google Cloud or Amazon, depending on what you already pay for.
Keeping It Correct
Automatic checks that catch problems before they reach your reports. If a system stops sending data or a number looks wrong, you hear about it that day rather than three weeks later in a board meeting.
Migrations and Clean-Up
Moving off an old system, untangling years of spreadsheets, or fixing a setup someone else built and walked away from.
Analytics
Seeing your numbers clearly, without chasing them
Reports people actually open, built around the decisions you actually make.
Dashboards
A dashboard is simply a screen showing the numbers that matter to you, updated automatically. We build in Power BI where you already have Microsoft, and we build custom dashboards using AI where a standard tool is too rigid or the licence costs do not suit your size. You should not have to buy software seats for your whole team just to see your own numbers.
Self-Service Reporting
Set up so your team can answer their own questions instead of queuing for someone to build a report. We define each number once, correctly, so everyone is looking at the same thing.
Conversational Analytics
Ask your data a question in plain English and get an answer straight back. “Which locations lost money last quarter.” “Which customers have not ordered in 90 days.”
Embedded Reporting
Reporting built into your own product, portal or customer area, so your customers see their numbers inside your software instead of in an emailed spreadsheet.
Ongoing Support
Your data team, without hiring one
A monthly arrangement covering maintenance, new reports and automations as you need them, training for your team, and someone to call when a number looks wrong. Most of our clients end up here after their first project.
Common questions
The things people ask before the first conversation. If yours is not here, ask it directly and we will answer properly.
What does Alloy Analytics do?
We connect the software a business already runs on, bring the information into one place, and build reporting and AI on top of it.
Most clients come to us because their numbers live in several separate tools, month end is assembled by hand, and nobody quite agrees which figures are right.
Is my business too small for this?
Probably not. We work with companies of roughly 20 to 200 people, which is the size where spreadsheets have stopped coping but hiring a data team is still a long way off.
That gap is the specific problem we exist to solve. If your data genuinely is not ready for what you want to build, we will tell you that rather than sell you a project.
Do we have to replace our existing software?
No. We connect what you already run on rather than asking you to move off it.
Most businesses are already paying for tools they barely use. Usually the right answer is to use those properly before buying anything new. We are not resellers and we earn nothing on software licences.
What is a data warehouse, and do we need one?
A data warehouse is one organised place where information from all your systems lives together, updated on its own, with your history kept so you can compare this year to last.
You need one as soon as more than one system holds numbers you report on. Without it, every report is somebody reconciling exports by hand.
How do you charge?
We quote by the project, not by the hour.
You get a written proposal covering exactly what we will build, how long it will take and what is not included, before anything begins. There are no open-ended bills and no invoices that grow while the work is underway.
Who owns what you build?
You do. The code, the documentation, the accounts and the logins, all of it.
We write things down so your team, or any other consultant, can pick it up and understand it. If you decide to take it in-house later, you can.
Can AI work with our data as it is?
Usually not, and that is the reason most AI projects stall before they deliver anything.
An assistant can only answer from information it can reach and trust. Getting the data connected and agreed first is what makes the AI reliable afterwards, which is why we do that part before anything else.
Do you work with businesses in other countries?
Yes. We work with clients across the United States, New Zealand, Australia and beyond.
Time zones have never been the hard part of this work. We are deliberately small and senior, so the person you speak with is the person who builds it.
How do you keep our data secure?
We work under signed agreements and non-disclosure agreements as standard.
Where you prefer it, we work inside your own systems and accounts rather than moving anything to ours, so your data never leaves your control. We are happy to work within whatever security requirements your business or your customers have.
