What the contact form collects
When you submit the contact form we collect the information you type into it. That is your name, your email address, and a description of the problem you want help with. Your company name and company size are optional and only collected if you choose to provide them.
We use this solely to reply to your enquiry and to discuss possible work with you. We do not sell it, rent it or share it for marketing. Submissions are delivered to us by a third party form processing service and by email, and are retained in our email records.
The form also includes a hidden field used to detect automated spam. It is never filled in by a person and collects nothing about you.
Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how people arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information including your IP address, device type, browser and pages viewed. We use this in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally.
You can opt out using Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how the site works.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are those used by Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
How long we keep things
Enquiries are kept for as long as we have an active or possible working relationship with you, and then for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period set in Google Analytics.
Your rights and how to request deletion
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@alloy-analytics.com with the request and the email address you used to contact us. We will action it and confirm within thirty days.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation or the California Consumer Privacy Act. We will honour those requests regardless of where you are.
Client data
This policy covers the website only. Data we handle during client work is governed by the signed agreement and non-disclosure agreement for that engagement. Where a client prefers it, we work inside their own systems and accounts so their data never leaves their control.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
